Legal
Privacy Policy
This policy covers ovalvi.com, the marketing site. It explains what happens to the information you send us when you ask for access.
Last updated: 21 August 2026
Who is responsible
Ovalvi is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at privacy@ovalvi.com for anything in this policy, including the requests described under "Your rights".
What we collect
We collect only what you type into the request access form, and the minimum technical data needed to serve the site.
- About you: first name, last name, work email, job title, country, and an optional phone number.
- About your organization: company name, website, headcount band, industry, and operating regions.
- About the deployment: tools in use, seat count, use cases, security requirements, timeline, and any free text notes you add.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser user agent, processed by our hosting provider to deliver the page and to block abuse. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
We do not ask for special category data. Please do not put any in the notes field.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your submission for one purpose: to assess the request and to contact you about an Ovalvi deployment. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, together with our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated. Serving the site itself rests on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
How long we keep it
Request access submissions are kept for 24 months from the last contact, then deleted. If you ask us to delete a submission earlier, we do so and keep only the fact that a deletion request was honoured.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of processors, each bound by a data processing agreement:
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site, stores form submissions, and provides network security.
- Slack Technologies receives a notification when a request arrives, so our team sees it.
- Google LLC serves the web fonts used by this site. Loading a font passes your IP address to Google.
We disclose data to no one else, unless we are legally required to.
Where it is stored
Submissions are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. Where data leaves the EEA, the transfer relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, and no cross site tracking. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to keep the site secure.
Your rights
If the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to you, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or hand it to another provider. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, which does not affect processing that already happened.
Write to privacy@ovalvi.com and we will answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we update the date at the top and, where the change affects a submission we still hold, we contact you.
